Business Fights Poverty’s Global Equity Summit, 6-7 March 2024, brought together world experts and industry leaders to offer practical insights and strategies to weave equity more deeply into the fabric of business practices, setting the stage for a more equitable and sustainable future.

Designed to spark meaningful dialogue and collaboration, the summit provided a platform for exchanging diverse viewpoints to navigate the shifting landscape of business and equity, discussing the strategies needed to tackle contemporary challenges.

Attendees delved into vital issues such as women’s entrepreneurship, health, gender-based violence, sustainable infrastructure, value chains, and empowering the youth.

Zahid Torres-Rahman, Co-Founder and CEO, Business Fights Poverty, started the summit with a session focussed on unleashing girl’s economic potential and ended it with an event looking at how do we drive forward the business agenda on equity in the context of 2024 at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge (APPG on Inclusive Growth Co-Chair, Liam Byrne MP was one of the speakers).
